NoiseGone for iPhone and iPad

Privacy Policy

NoiseGone is designed so your media and creative work stay on your device. This policy explains local media processing, usage statistics, your choices, and when Apple, Cloudflare, or your email provider may handle information.

Effective: October 3, 2026 Last updated: October 3, 2026
The short version

NoiseGone does not require an account and does not operate a backend for your projects. Your media, recordings, waveforms, transcripts, edits, and exports are processed locally on your iPhone or iPad. Usage statistics are enabled automatically when the App starts. Limited feature events, coarse outcomes, and random identifiers are sent to our Cloudflare-hosted statistics service. These events do not contain your media or transcript text. The App does not provide a usage-statistics switch. The app contains no advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDK.

1. Scope

NoiseGone was previously named Sonicraft. This name change applies to the same App and developer; existing subscriptions and locally saved projects continue under the same App.

This Privacy Policy applies to the NoiseGone iOS application (the “App”) and these NoiseGone legal pages (the “Website”). It does not change the privacy practices of Apple, Cloudflare, a file or photo provider you choose, an email service, or any other service outside our control.

2. Information processed on your device

To perform the actions you request, NoiseGone may process the following information locally:

This processing happens within the App and Apple system frameworks. NoiseGone does not transmit your media, recordings, transcripts, edits, waveforms, or exported results to us. Information that remains solely on your device is not accessible to us.

3. Information we do not collect from the App

NoiseGone has no user accounts, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics SDK. A first-party statistics service is described below. We do not collect from the App:

We do not sell personal information, use personal information for targeted advertising, or share App content with data brokers. We do not upload your media or transcript content to service providers. Cloudflare processes usage statistics and website requests as described in this policy. If an additional service provider is introduced that can handle App data, it must protect that data consistently with this policy, and this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that change is released.

4. Usage statistics

Usage statistics are enabled by default without a separate activation step or in-app switch. NoiseGone sends limited feature actions, task stages, coarse processing outcomes and timing ranges, export outcomes, subscription-plan actions and verification outcomes, app version, interface language, OS major version, and iPhone/iPad category to our first-party statistics service hosted by Cloudflare. Apple handles payment credentials; we do not receive receipts or transaction identifiers through this service.

Events include their occurrence time and use randomly generated installation, session, task, processing-attempt, result, and export identifiers to connect steps within the App. These are pseudonymous identifiers, not a guarantee of anonymity. We do not use IDFA, IDFV, fingerprinting, IP geolocation, or identifiers to follow you across apps. No audio, video, recordings, waveforms, transcript text, precise media positions, filenames, paths, content hashes, raw error messages, or clipboard contents are sent.

We use these statistics only to understand feature use and improve reliability. Event records are kept for up to 90 days. An unsent queue on the device is limited to seven days, 1,000 events and 2 MB, and is excluded from device backups. Access to the statistics dashboard is restricted. Cloudflare handles network requests and can see connection information such as IP addresses in transit; our application statistics database does not store full IP addresses or use them for location analysis. Worker request logging is disabled for this service.

Statistics start automatically and have no in-app enable/disable control. Media processing, playback, and purchases continue to work if the statistics service is unreachable. Removing the App removes its local queue and installation identifier; event records already received expire under the retention policy above. Any deletion request already submitted by an older App version is still completed, and a minimal revocation record prevents delayed uploads from recreating those deleted events.

5. Permissions and media import

Microphone

NoiseGone requests microphone access only when you choose to record audio. The recording is saved to a local NoiseGone project for on-device transcription and related actions. You can change microphone access in iOS Settings.

Files and Photos

When you import media, Apple’s system picker lets you choose the specific file or item. NoiseGone copies the selected item into App-controlled local storage so the project can continue to work if the external item moves. NoiseGone does not overwrite the original in Files or Photos.

6. Purchases and Apple services

NoiseGone uses Apple StoreKit to load products, determine offer eligibility and entitlement status, make purchases, observe subscription changes, and restore purchases. Those actions may contact Apple. Apple processes payment information and the App Store transaction under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

NoiseGone may read the StoreKit information needed to unlock features on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your payment details, purchase receipt, or media. Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store sales, subscription, download, and performance information; Apple controls that information and its disclosure.

7. Storage, retention, and deletion

NoiseGone keeps completed projects, including their App-owned audio source, metadata, edits, transcript, and retained results, locally until you delete them or remove the App. Video inputs are converted to project audio; the App does not keep a project copy of the video picture. Unfinished App-owned projects without a committed result may be cleared at the next cold start. This cleanup does not delete the original file in Files or Photos or the source of a retained completed project.

Deleting a NoiseGone project does not delete the original item in Files or Photos, an export already saved outside NoiseGone, or copies you shared elsewhere. Depending on your iOS and backup settings, Apple may include local project data in a device backup. Apple controls backup retention and deletion.

8. This Website and support email

This Website contains no forms, advertising, behavioral analytics, or developer-set cookies. Its product page uses a local script to display one of ten interface languages based on the language you choose in the URL or, when no language is chosen, your browser language. NoiseGone does not store that language choice, send it to us, or use it to build a profile.

The Website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may automatically process limited network and security information, such as an IP address, request URL, browser or device information, language preferences included in a request, and security logs, to deliver and protect the Website. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, protect the App, and keep any records required by law. Please do not send private media or transcripts unless they are necessary and you intentionally choose to do so. You may ask us to delete a support conversation, subject to legal and security recordkeeping needs.

9. Security

NoiseGone relies on iOS app isolation and Apple platform protections for local data. No storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, maintaining appropriate backups, reviewing exports before sharing them, and using secure destinations when moving files outside NoiseGone.

10. Children

NoiseGone is a general-purpose sound utility and is not directed to children under 13. The App does not create accounts. Usage statistics can include pseudonymous identifiers and feature activity as described above; they are not described as anonymous or exempt from this policy. A parent or guardian should supervise use where required by local law and review media the child processes or exports. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us so we can address the information you supplied.

11. Your choices

Because we do not maintain an App account or server-side project database, there is ordinarily no App content for us to access, export, correct, or delete. You can control your information by deleting projects in NoiseGone, clearing rebuildable caches, changing microphone permission in iOS Settings, managing Apple backups, deleting exported copies, and removing the App.

Usage statistics are separate from your local projects. Statistics are collected automatically; there is no in-app statistics switch. Deleting a project alone does not delete statistics. We do not associate the random installation identifier with your name or email, so an email address alone cannot identify your installation’s events. For privacy requests or questions about information you have shared through support email or this Website, contact us at the address below.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when NoiseGone, its distribution, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how App data is handled, we will update the App’s disclosures and provide notice appropriate to the change before the new practice applies.

13. Contact

Email privacy questions or requests to gh111133@163.com. The provider of NoiseGone is the developer identified on the App Store product page.
